had started a draft post after the vancouver show. “1st time playing in Vancouver, lanalou’s, sold out. at soundcheck, i asked the woman running the show what the sound tech’s name was, a man with long white hair hanging in front of his face. she said his name is “Mok”. I said ya okay, Mok. Funny name, but a lot of older sound techs have their special names. The whole night I was calling him Mok. “Mok could we get some more vocals on the stage”, “Mok, what do you think about…”. Mok this and Mok that. At one point during the show, he was also bussing the tables, I noticed from the stage. I thanked him for his hard work between songs during the Ada Lea set. Then as I am packing up the merch, I overhear the woman running the show, and I start to notice something about her accent, it’s an Australian accent… How hadn’t I noticed earlier? She’s talking about Mok, and the whole night flashes before my eyes. With this new information about her Australian accent, I am starting to wonder if perhaps Mok had a regular disciple’s name. As it turns out, yes, his name was Mark.”

i never finished posting about all the rest of the shows on the tour, there was Portland, and SF, LA, Vegas!! and others.. and I don’t think the posts will ever happen, to be honest!! too far gone, now, and there’s absolutely no way of recalling any of those memories, now. But I did get my disposable camera developed and here are the shots through the midwest and the west coast, Idaho and sunny places.
